Grungy No.4

Texture Fades: I made this card with my grandma on it. I used the texture fade in the background, sanded it and then inked it. I love the camera hanging, love that camera!

Grungy No.3

Well, here we go with some cool color wash! The background is completely done in color wash. I really liked how it turned out. All the stamps used are of course by Tim Holtz. The flowers were simply made out of a couple of punches and they are Tim's glassine paper! I also die cut Tim's fence and added black distress embossing powder. I really liked the use of the color wash for the background and will have to use it more often!

Grungy No.2

Well, I am excited about this one, I am still sick but managed to beef up enough energy to do this challenge! I really like it and will use this technique again! I love how my card turned out. If you know me, you know I can`t make cards well, so I`m very proud of how this turned out.

Thanks so much for your comments, they are truly appreciated!

Grungy No.1

Is so excited that my entry was this week's winner! It makes me feel better after the long week of sickness!!!!

Well, after a long week of sickness in this house, I had to do something creative! So I finally got to it and my this weeks entry into Studio L3's grungy challenge!

I love the old picture I got from my grandpa. The perfect pearls really show through on my stamped clock image. I tore a page from the back of an old dictionary, notice the word "young" just above the clock. I really like this tag!
