Anything goes at Simon!

This weeks challenge over at Simon's is anything goes!

Check out my hanging family calendars I have made for Christmas. I have made 3 versions of them. I like this idea because people are always asking when someone's birthday or anniversary is, and this will show all the info!

I used spellbinders dies to make the circles. I like the added details on these dies. The embossing of these dies is amazing. I used some Tim Holtz stick pins and small key chain loops to connect the main part of the project with the circles. The small circles were made with the "Tear Drop Die". For the letters in "family", I used a digital alphabet I bought awhile ago, and just printed it off and then used the spellbinders to make perfect circles. I love the black pattern under the word family, I of course used spellbinders (Fleur De Lis Accents Die) for this as well! And to top it all off, some Tim Holtz metal corners!

This is one I made for my mom. I love the green colors. I changed it a bit from the first one by adding some flowers to the little circles. While the first one was for my brother, this one I wanted to give a more feminine look to it.

The last one I made for my mother in law. She loves red and oranges. I changed this one up a little bit more by using a Martha Stewart punch to decorate the main part of the project. I also made my own letters out of some digital papers and fonts, and made sure the font matched on the circles below. The circles at the bottom are different as well using the "Picot edge die".
