Well it has been awhile since I have done the Compendium of Curiosity Challenges. For this week, it was asked for us to create a spritz and flick distress. I made two different cards to show the technique. I used many Tim Holtz stamps, and of course his new coloured inks!
I like this card. I love these new colours, salty ocean and picked raspberry! I used the mini-stamps from his ATC sets from Michaels. I masked the middle image so that the background of diamonds wouldn't go over the image. I used the tiny attacher to attach the sentiment.
Again I love the colour, mowed grass and picked raspberry. I used a bit of Hemp thread to accent the card and a cool metal door handle to really "Tim Holtz" this card! I also cut out an umbrella top using a green card stock. I used my copic markers to add shadows and give it some dimension.

No Rules!
Hi everyone. Check out my newly reno'd blog! I decided to change things up and I really like it!
For this weeks Simon Says Challenge, there are no rules. I decided to enter this mini-album, which really isn't mini into this weeks contest. I love this album. I believe it was simple stories paper used. This is Kathy Orta's style mini, but of course I changed some things up to make it my own. I really like how it turned out!
I love this album. The camera I cut out from the simple stories paper and glued to foam to "pop" it out! I love the sewing and the flowers, it all works together!
I stamped little stamps onto some kraft paper and then cut them out. Then I sewed them onto some paper and made it look like luggage!
A look at the mini just as you open it. There is a nice big pocket on the inside core. As you can see I used a Tim Holtz Binder tool to bind this mini. I used a Martha Stewart Punch.
A look at the inside extra travel passport I made. I thought it looked quite cool!
The Norsgirl made this originally. You can find her on you-tube. It is quite neat. You just pull up the tag and it opens!
Tim Holtz papers, I love that world paper!
I'm so happy and pleased to say this album made top 3 in Simon Says Stamp Challenge! Thanks SSS!
